The Nation reports that AIT media company which is owned by Raymond Dokpesi, relieved the workers of their duty in a letter dated June 2nd and signed by the company’s Senior Manager in charge of Human Resources, Victor Okasoga. The affected workers are being owed arrears of salaries of up to two years. Their dismissal according to the letter is with immediate effect.
Their sack letter read,
“Those whose affected to handover all company properties in your possession especially your identity cards to the Head of Center. Failure to surrender company properties in your possession may delay the processing of your entitlements.”
It would be recalled that three weeks ago, the affected workers including reporters, camera men, presenters and producers protested the undue delays in payment of their salaries running into a year and six months.
