Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal team went into this league fixture against Bournemouth without a win through out the month of November though on a long undefeated streak.
The gunners started kicked off the game on the front foot, spraying passes and playing on a high tempo as they dominated the Cherries and dictated play.
Bournemouth looked organised and solid at the back, repelling all the efforts made by Arsenal to score. The hosts however, will take the lead through Alexis Sanchez after Steve Cook under-hit his back pass to his goalkeeper leaving Sanchez to pick up the loose ball and slot it under the goalie.
Eddie Howe’s men equalized from the spot through Callum Wilson after the latter controversially collided with Monreal.
The gunners left the field to loud boos from the fans as they finished level on the break because of their winless run though out November.
The gunners began the second half the same way they did the first and later on Theo Walcott put the hosts ahead again, heading home from a cushioned Monreal cross. Sanchez left it late to seal all three points as he tapped in a low cross from substitute, Olivier Giroud.
