“I Was Tied Up Behind A Hilux Van And Driven To Port Harcourt Like An Animal” – Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo

KOO-620x800On March 14, 2017, fans of Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo woke up to the disturbing news that officers of the Nigeria Police Force had stormed the journalist’s home at 7:56 in the morning to arrest her.

We all thought it was a minor case of the police inviting a citizen to the station for questioning. We were all wrong. It turns out the media woman was arrested and thrown into prison without bail and was made to remain there in dire conditions for over 80 days.

Olunloyo who was finally granted bailed and released about a week ago, has explained her ordeal on the day of her arrest and is calling for the resignation of the current IG of police, Ibrahim Idris to resign.
