An internet hoax claiming Sylvester Stallone has died has resurfaced again.
Luckily, many of his fans immediately guessed it was the same hoax that had done the rounds 18 months ago – but some were left worried about the legendary actor.
The hoax first emerged in September 2016, claiming the Hollywood icon had died A message had appeared on Facebook claiming Stallone had been found dead at his Los Angeles home. However, it soon transpired that it was a sick hoax when users found it was linked to a website notorious for sharing celebrity death hoaxes.
The actor’s brother Frank took to Twitter to hit back in the wake of the sickening claim, writing:
‘Rumors that my brother is dead are false. What kind of sick demented cruel mind thinks of things like this to post? People like this are mentally deranged and don’t deserve a place in society’.
