Little Boys Kidnapped by Maid in Lagos Found Alive and Well in Sagamu

KIDNAPPED BOYSI cannot thank God enough for this good news! On December 7 in Lagos, a 25-year-old housemaid, simply identified as Juliet abducted three-year-old Rafael Esharegharan and his 15-month-old brother, Michael Esharegharan.

The children’s parents had gone on a brief outing and left the kids in her care, only for her to abscond with them after the parents left home. The parents who asked the public for help, sent out frantic messages which went viral on social media, blogs, BBM and Whatsapp.

Yesterday, we all received the great news that the young boys were found in the Sagamu area of Ogun State, abandoned near the Sagamu Police Station on Thursday. There were unconfirmed reports that a ransom was paid for the release of the boys.

An uncle of the children, Mr. Darlington Abuda, who revealed that one of the kids is currently traumatised, told PUNCH that passersby in the area were the ones who alerted the police to the presence of the children. Abuda said:

“We are jubilant. Their rescue is the best Christmas gift the whole family can ever get. Michael is crying now and the mother is attending to him and his elder brother.

We give glory to God for returning them to the family safe and sound. I learnt they were abandoned near the Sagamu Police Station by the housemaid.”

Lord we thank you for answered prayers.
