Peace Ben Williams Blog Remembers Dana Crash Victims…3 Years Later

PBWB REMEMBERS-DANA CRASH VICTIMSI can’t believe it’s been three years since that tragic accident!

On June 3rd 2012, a Dana aircraft, marked J9 992, took off from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, and crashed at a residential area in Iju Ishaga on the outskirts of Lagos.

All 153 people who were on board, and an unknown number on the ground, were killed…their lives tragically cut short. It was one of the most tragic accidents in the history of air transport in Nigeria.

Peace Ben Williams Blog remembers the Dana Air victims who lost their lives on that fateful day…

  • The Dana Air crew members who had as usual resumed that day for work,
  • The poor victims on board the ill fated Dana plane who were in high spirits when they boarded that flight and bade their loved ones farewell,
  • Then the innocent ones who were going about their business at the crash site.

May their souls continue to rest in perfect peace.
