This morning, I posted this photo of myself (left) on Instagram, with a strong urge to make a general prayer for ourselves an our families.
Just as I hit the publish button, I saw that Stella Damasus had also posted a photo of herself wearing an outfit with a similar fashion idea and had also attached some counsel with a little prayer to her post.
We both wore black, we both wore sneakers…mine silver; hers in gold. We both had a centre part hairstyle, hers pulled back and mine let down. We also captioned our photos with almost similar hashtags.
This Nigerian actress has always felt like my sister. I could swear we’re kindred spirit. Stella also bears a striking resemblance with my second sister, (who’d kill me by the way if I dare post her photo here…hehehe.)Stella prayed today…
“The enemy will try to use people to destroy the very thing you hold dear. It could be your reputation, friendship, relationship, business, ministry, etc.
Whatever he throws at you, just know that Jesus already defeated him. He defeated the grave. He already won the battle for you. He knew what would come and how it would affect you and that’s why he came and died for you and I, so that we can have victory over the enemy.
Whenever something great is coming your way, you will notice that the enemy will start to throw fiery darts at you. Trust and believe that it will never penetrate nor destroy you. I call on the name of Jesus and I pray for each and every one of you.
May God protect your family, your business, your relationship, your friendship and every thing that you value. Stand strong and no matter what the enemy tries to do to you, rise up and keep moving.
And I prayed…
“Heavenly Father, Please shine your light upon our families. Give us strength to overcome all of the difficulties that we are dealing with now and protect us against any and all problems we may encounter in the future. O Lord, please bring us together as we are meant to be. May the love that binds us only grow stronger as we fulfill the destiny you have laid out for us.
Grant our families forgiveness for any sins we have committed. May we also forgive one another Lord, as it is sometimes difficult to do.
Bless us Lord, In your name I pray, in Jesus name, Amen!!
