Sometimes, in a bid to fit into modern day society where the public accepts you for being “civilized”, “open-minded” and in tune with the changes of our social environment, some of us tend to jump on the bandwagon so to speak.
I don’t mean to sound ‘churchy’ or anything…not that I’m ashamed to…but I just want us to consider for a minute the path we are taking today.
Over the years, I’ve gained wisdom and understanding enough to realise that laws were made by God, not because God wants to cut the picture of some big bully who lives upstairs and throws down impossible-to-keep laws down at us, but because these laws were made out of love to protect us. This is just the same as the rules parents give to their kids. Kids may see their parents as impossible adults who fail to understand the needs of the younger generation. They soon grow up to realise these rules were made out of love to set them on a straight path.
I saw this photo of a young Nigerian man named Jay (pictured above) posted on a popular blog. He’s wearing yellow pants which were clearly designed for a woman. He’s wearing female shoes, a female blouse and probably his face is made up like a woman.
The blogger who posted the photo praised him by saying he looks “fierce.” Pray tell me, what’s so fierce about this look? Apart from the fierce demonic possession over this poor boy’s body which should in fact invoke pity, I fail to understand how this look should be celebrated on a male.
I’m no saint, in fact I dare say I’m a worthless sinner, but in my world of imperfection I will not polish what is wrong to gain the friendship of all. This is wrong and I’ll remind us why.
God said in his book:
“The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.” – Deuteronomy Chapter 22 verse 5 (King James Version).
“A woman must not wear what is appropriate to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, because anyone who does this is detestable to the LORD your God.” – Deuteronomy Chapter 22 verse 5 (International Standard Version).
The African preachers of old used to misinterpret this verse to mean that it was considered a sin for females to wear trousers. I bet they never pictured the day the world would breed cross dressers whose fashion decisions would be celebrated by the world.
Yes, it may be quite tempting to admire male cross dressers. Sometimes, I catch myself admiring EJ Johnson‘s fashion statements. But I quickly remind myself that it is wrong…for a reason we may not get to fully understand until we “grow up.”
The world is coming to an end and these are the signs. Men boldly wearing female wigs and hair extensions, wearing heels, getting hip and butt implant, making female gestures, despising their gender and the image God made them. These are indeed signs of evil times.
By the way, this opinion piece is not necessarily for the butt-licking public, but for the remnant on earth who are determined not to get sucked in by the subtle devises the devil has set in motion to distract and derail the world.
