The Hunger Games actress, Amandla Stenberg proves she is indeed the voice activist as she graces the February edition of Teen Vogue magazine.
The teen actress who was interviewed for the mag by Beyonce‘s younger sister, Solange Knowles displayed her girl power as one of the new faces of feminism and more so, black feminism.
‘We [Black women] need more representation in film and in television and we need our voices to be louder in the media.
‘And not just women of color, [but] bisexual women, gay women, transgender women, mentally-ill women. I’m sick of all the misogyny and homophobia and transphobia that I see around me and I know you are too!’
