DISCLAIMER: As a blogger, one principle I uphold is NOT body-shaming women, because society has put too much unnecessary pressure on us achieving mostly unattainable beauty standards as it is. So please do not see this as a body-shaming post, but as a practical case study of what I’ve been preaching here in the group. I have a lot of love and respect for Miss Wendy.
Now to the main post…
It’s not a secret that Wendy Williams once struggled with weight issues. The 53-year-old American talk show host, solved that problem by getting liposuction, a tummy tuck and breast augmentation. Her tummy tuck scar is neatly concealed by an elaborate lower belly tattoo. She looks slim no doubt, but her skin looks loose and we can see all the bruises and dents from liposuction of her belly and thighs.
Kate Henshaw on the other hand, went about her weight issues the right way. The 46-year old Nigerian actress maintains a healthy diet and exercises and lifts weights regularly. Because she has decided to put in the hard work herself, it is evident in how she looks. Her body looks firm and her skin is glowing.
No wonder Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel paid Kate, popularly called ‘Old Mama Youngie’ this glowing birthday tribute:
“A great personality needs a great BODY! For Kate, life has its ups and downs and they are called squats. Kate looks like a beauty and she trains like a beast.
She weighs one hundred and sexy. She’s usually in all black when she’s exercising. it’s like she’s going to a funeral for her fat. They say sweat is just fat crying.
When she’s working out and she tightens her pony tail, you know it’s about to go down!
One advice, please don’t listen to your inner fatty. She’s nothing but an evil witch who misses cup cakes.”
You may want to argue that Kate is lots younger than Wendy, but what about Angela Bassett? She’s 59, even older than Wendy, but because she body builds and strength trains, she gives twenty year olds a run for their money. This American actress proves age is just a number if you’re doing the right thing.
You can’t imagine how far you’d go, how healthy and ageless you’d look just by combining the Ketogenic diet with strength training.
I strongly desire to body build in the near future, soon as I find the right personal trainer. I can’t wait to sculpt my body like Kate and Angela.
I’m not 100% condemning cosmetic surgery. A little nick here and tuck there might be necessary for some of us. If we must go down that route, then do it sensibly like Khloe Kardashian.😊😊😊😊😊 She’s had positive cosmetic enhancements to her body and maintains it by working out like a beast. So she has an almost perfect body with good muscle definition.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
