Veteran Nigerian cinematographer Tunde Kelani has revealed that he has shot the missing scene in his blockbuster film, “Ma’ami” , which was screened last year at major film festivals to add to the DVD version which has been released to the viewing public.
The missing scene has been made to add more to intrigue before the inspirational movie which features Funke Akindele, Wole Ojo, Tamilore Kuboye and others.
Does TK have another film project up his sleeve? Yes…“Dazzling Mirage” is a new feature film the veteran cinematographer is currently working on.
“Dazzling Mirage”, highlights the travails of sickle cell anaemia patients and the myths which surrounds the hereditary sickness, it is not however laced only with psychological trauma and pain , but also the love element is fused into the story line. The new film is based on a book written by Olayinka Abimbola Egbokhare.
“I’m intrigued by the writer’s approach to weave a love story with it, and that to me is an attraction. I have also had personal relationship with sufferers of this ailment and I consider it my responsibility to bring their story to the fore.” TK says.
Dazzling Mirage which will premiere in the first quarter of 2013.
